Copenhagen delays bike share system upgrade

One of the world’s oldest bike share programs, introduced in 1995, will have to wait a bit longer for an upgrade due to the absence of funding. Disappointing, I was so looking forward to the cool new bike share system; in 2009 a competition was held to determine the new bicycle design, and of the 127 proposals from five continents, two shared first prize and would have served as the inspiration for the next generation of city bikes.
